When Basquiat met Warhol for the first time Warhol snubbed him a bit. So off he went to his studio to paint a vision of the two artists in 2 hours called “Doc Cabezas,” or two heads. He sent it to Warhol’s factory via his assistant. Warhol, being typical to himself, said, “I’m jealous, he’s faster than me.” The two artists collaborated eventually. Painting above called “Notary.”
